Quickly cancel check payments by using Online Banking or our Mobile App.

At Power Financial Credit Union, we strive to make our checking services as user-friendly as possible. That includes those instances when you need to stop payment on a check. This might happen if you realize you've entered the wrong dollar amount or recipient's name, if you're having a dispute with a merchant, or if you've lost your checkbook and want to guard against someone accessing your account. Here's how to go about canceling payment and protecting your money:

Log in to Online Banking or access our Mobile App
Select "Stop Payment" from the Additional Services menu
Review the terms and conditions
Select “For a single check” or “For multiple checks”
Enter the required information
Review the information and click Submit
