Issue Card

You should receive your debit card between 7-10 business days from the date you submit the request. If you need your card sooner, please call our Contact Center at 800-548-5465.
For your protection and security, cards are only mailed to the address on record associated with your Power Financial Credit Union account. For more information, please call our Contact Center at 800-548-5465.
New cards can only be issued for eligible Power Financial Credit Union checking accounts for which a debit card has not already been issued. If you have any questions, please call our Contact Center at 800-548-5465.

Change PIN

Protecting your account is our top priority. When a request is made to change a PIN on an account, we ask for the current PIN to confirm that the account holder is the person requesting the change.
If you don’t know your current PIN, please call our Contact Center at 800-548-5465 for assistance.

Freeze Card

Accordion Section

Freezing a card will temporarily block new card transactions from posting on your account. Recurring charges will continue without disruption.  This feature is available to you to help you protect your account if you have misplaced your card. Once you have located your card, you can remove the freeze and start using your card again.
If you lose your card or it has been stolen, please use the Replace Card feature. This feature will permanently close your card so no unauthorized transactions can be processed. When this feature is activated, we’ll know you need a new card and will mail one to your address on file. You can also call our Contact Center at 800-548-5465 to have a card reissued.

Replace Card

For security purposes it’s important for us to understand why you’re requesting to replace your card.
  • If you’ve misplaced or lost your card, please select the lost card option. 
  • If you’ve noticed any unauthorized card transactions or believe your card has been stolen, please select the stolen card option. Lost and Stolen cards will be cancelled and replaced providing you with a new card number.
  • If your card is damaged or not working properly, please select the damaged card option. Since a damaged card is not compromised, you can continue to use your old card, if possible, until your new card arrives and is activated.

If you notice an unauthorized transaction, it is your responsibility to notify Power Financial Credit Union immediately by completing a Fraudulent Use of a Debit or ATM Card form.

How to find the form:
  1. Log in to Power Financial Credit Union’s Online Banking
  2. Hover over “Secure Form” in the top navigation bar
  3. Select “Fraudulent Use of a Debit or ATM Card” from the dropdown menu
  4. Fill out the form completely then click “Submit”

Travel Notification

Yes. If you are traveling outside of your normal purchasing area and plan on using your Power Financial Credit Union card, adding a travel notification will help to protect the security of your account.
Travel notification should be placed at least 24 hours before your anticipated travel date, though we recommend contacting us sooner if you know your dates of travel.
You can add travel itineraries up to 90 days in advance. However, the maximum duration of the trip is limited to 30 days.  If you will be traveling for longer than 30 days, please call our Contact Center at 800-548-5465.
You can add up to 5 trip itineraries through this service. To notify us of additional trips, please call our Contact Center at 800-548-5465.
Yes. You can make changes or delete a travel notification you have placed.
Yes. A travel notification will need to be placed on each Power Financial Credit Union card you plan to use while traveling. Additionally, if you have a joint account and the joint owner plans to use their card while traveling, the joint owner will need to place their own travel notification.

Card Management is currently available to Power Financial Credit Union Debit Card customers who have a permanent residence in the United States. International, business banking and/or credit card customers may call our Contact Center at 800-548-5465 to perform any of the functions available through this service.
