Leman Murray joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 1990 and is our chairman of the board and member of the executive committee. Leman is an NAFCU certified volunteer expert, completed the first annual Florida Directors College from NASCUS and winner of the Roy F. Bergengren Premier Award from CUNA Mutual.
Bob Oldham is a long-standing member of our board. A retiree from FP&L where he worked in external affairs, Bob joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 1989. He has obtained a certificate of training achievement in basic financial statements and attended numerous credit union education conferences.
Wendel Sauer is the secretary to the Board of Directors and joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 1988. Wendel is also on the Beech Mountain Town Council and has served as the budget administrator for the Southern Division of FP&L, revenue recovery supervisor for the West Palm Call Center and served as a production analyst at the West Palm Call Center.
Terry Keith joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 2003. The Director of Cost Recovery Clauses for FP&L, has served in a number of positions related to financial operations. Terry served as treasurer of the Miami Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, as a member of the Family Christian Association of America and a member of the American Association of Blacks in Energy.
John Breslin joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 2006. John is a retired Chief Master Sergeant with the Air Force Reserves and a retired Labor and Employee Relations Supervisor with the U.S. Government. John was the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Homestead Air Force Base Federal Credit Union and a certified credit director through the London School of Business and the Harvard School of Business.
Patrick Carnevale is a member of the Power Financial Credit Union board’s audit committee and a board director. Patrick joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 2006 and is a retired employee of Miami-Dade County. Patrick is also the board chairman of the City of Hialeah Personnel Board and the St. John the Apostle Festival chairman.
Tony Cuba joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 1997. Tony is retired from FP&L as the Director of Regulatory Tax Accounting and has a BA in accounting.
Stephen Knight is an aviation safety inspector and joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 2006. Stephen served on the Pan Am Horizons Federal Credit Union loan review committee and supervisory committee. He has also received certifications from the Harvard Business School, Boston Advanced Leadership Institute, IESE Business School and Embry-Riddle University.
Leslie McConachie serves as a board director and a member of the ALCO Committee and joined the Power Financial Credit Unionboard in 2006. Leslie is a math teacher at Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School and has worked as a bookkeeper and tax accountant. She also served as SunTrust Bank's Vice President of Management Training and Credit Department.
Pat Patterson currently serves on the executive committee and audit committee and joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 1989. Pat worked in various positions at FP&L, and served in different locations in a management capacity.
Gene Sevilla-Secasa is a board director and member of the ALCO Committee. Gene is the Vice President of International Supply Chain Solutions at Ryder System, Inc. and became part of the Power Financial Credit Union board in 2016. Gene is an International Business Fellow Member, a former president of the U.S. Mexico Chamber of Commerce International Chapter, had been on the Ryder Federal Credit Union board since 1988 and had served as the chairman of the board since 2000.
George Skillas joined the Power Financial Credit Union board in 1990 and is part of the investment committee and executive committee. George is a certified credit director and received his certification from the London School of Business. He also participated in the CUES Director Leadership Institute through the IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
